Penny Skateboards collabed with Waterborne Skateboards and launched their 29" High-Line surfskate. We bought it, shredded it and reviewed it to help you decide if it's right for you.
Who's It Best For?
If you're looking for an entry-level surfskate that's more affordable than just about any other brand out there, this is a solid option.
The trucks are where the magic happens for this board. It's the front Waterborne adapter that allows you to turn on a dime. The adapter is mounted to the deck and then the Penny truck is screwed into the adapter.
Instead of using a spring like almost every other surfskate adapter has, Waterborne utilizes a urethane bushing which is great for durability.
Is It Worth It?
Yes, but only if you're looking for an entry-level surfskate and don't want something for technichal surf training.
